such radiance hidden *

I play hockey upfront but I don't like scoring because I prefer seeing others succeed. I listen to music if I like the lyrics, not the artist. I hunch up and dodge cigarette smoke clouds as they dissolve into the air. I like it when it's raining and it's dark and the only thing letting you see the drops fall are the lamps on the pavement or the headlights of the cars and it looks just like tiny stars are hitting the ground and splintering into pinpricks of light and then the light goes and they've gone. And this is the place where the light shines and everyone can see those tiny pinpricks. Even if I'm hidden.

There will be a few times in your life when all your instincts will tell you to do something, something that defies logic, upsets your plans, and may seem crazy to others. When that happens, you do it. Listen to your instincts and ignore everything else. Ignore logic, ignore the odds, ignore the complications, and just go for it.
